Four Seasons Challenge

Four Season's Challenge

Thirty entries were received for Victorian Quilters latest challenge.

This challenge invited quilt makers to use one of four fabrics, given to them randomly and make a small quilt to represent a season. A very diverse and interesting group of quilts were produced by quilters, who came from as far afield as St George in Queensland to South Australia.

Our congratulations go to our winner, Roxanne Murphy, Nairne, South Australia, who has taken home a new Pfaff sewing machine.

Second place: Sandra Kay Murphy , Nairne, South Australia

Third place: Cheryl Prideaux, Kyabram

Our second and third place getters were awarded cash prizes, kindly donated by Expertise Events.

The quilts were displayed at the Sewing and Craft Show held at the Caulfield Race Course during October. The quilts are now available for viewing in the travelling Suitcase, available from Victorian Quilters.
